mehrheit means average, or common. Majority.....perhaps, since average~=majority, in most cases.

no sympathy for the common, or something along those lines.

common, probably meaning like a follower, or conformist. it's a KMFDM song, correct?

actually, I'm dumb. It's what KMFDM means.

    Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitleid

But that doesn't make any sense........because directly, that translates into

No (kein) majority (mehrheit) for (fur) the (die) sympathy/pity (mitleid).

Either KMFDM isn't a german band.....or they are saying something more complicated.

    No majority for the pity.........hm.

KMFDM is an acronym for the German construct of "no majority for pity". Some confusion exists regarding the proper German phrasing. The phrase "Kein Mehrheit FĂƒÂ¼r Die Mitleid" is cited by the band in interviews, on the packaging of the WWIII album, and the official KMFDM FAQ; however the more grammatically accurate phrasing "Kein Mitleid FĂƒÂ¼r Die Mehrheit" (roughly, "no pity for the majority") is cited on the official KMFDM Myspace Music Page as well as within the lyrics to the song "Megalomaniac". It is assumed that "Kein Mehrheit FĂƒÂ¼r Die Mitleid" is Konietzko's preferred phrasing, thus is left intentionally nonsensical. One account of the origin of the confusing name says that Konietzko came up with the phrase "Kein Mehrheit FĂƒÂ¼r Die Mitleid" while cutting out headlines from German newspapers and shuffling around the words. [1] This was shortened to "KMFDM" in 1985 as a means to simplify the long phrase.
And I thought this next one was retarted, never heard of it before...

The media was quick to jump on the apparent connection of the massacre to violent entertainment and Nazism.
