Re: Who will you vote for in election 2008
I'm going to vote for whoever seems to stand the best chance of forwarding my basic values without also supporting things which I don't feel benefit the majority of the nation. So far, what little attention I've paid to what both parties have to offer hasn't caught my eye yet, although I wish they'd skip the shit slinging and instead talk about what they're going to DO as opposed to what they stand for.
meh, politics annoys me, but I pay attention cause I'd be a hypocrite and a statistic if I didn't. I won't start making decisions until we get closer to the primaries. Never know who else is gonna take a stab at the top office.

Basically what i mean is im against raising taxes for something new, I would rather find ways to cut funding from something useless, to give something new funding, or something that just needs more money.
Gore, Bill Clinton had to be next to carter in worst presidents ever. Just an example, he closed down Castle Airforce Base here in California, for no reason. Now it just sits there.
He also closed down many oil drills in southern california, killing jobs, and reducing oil coming out of there.

His answer was brilliant.
"I think we need to spend the money we already have better." (paraphrased)
I'm no HUGE fan of Bush at the moment, but I'll vote for the most apparent fiscal conservative in the field.
As for the big moral issues, thats for God to sort out. Man's attempt at assuaging guilt by making immoral acts illegal is a waste of time.
Gay marriage? who gives a rip? Lets not waste a few million bucks making it "illegal". Thats retarded.

See Also: Ross Perot taking 19,741,065 votes from Bush Sr. in '92 and giving Clinton the win.
See Also: Ralph Nader taking 2,883,105 votes and making 2000 election closer than it should have been
