Re: Who will you vote for in election 2008
The thing about "Common Knowledge" is that it's accepted as true because its such common sense.
Rejecting the accepted fact that Perot took votes from Bush Sr. and handed the election to Clinton is .... an interesting view of history, lol.
Nader is a closer call - being that the Green Party shares many similarities with the left...
regardless, this is an academic exercise I dont have time for right now, lol.

Re: Who will you vote for in election 2008
Hmmm I liked what Obama had to say about some things in the democratic debate (which is odd because Im a conservative republican). I havent gotten to see any of the republican debates as of yet, so I'll hold off on my voting. Also consultant, I can see where you're coming from about the gay marriage deal. It really doesnt make sense to waste millions of dollars for it. But I will not vote for someone who is pro-choice (which is interpreted as a mother's right to choose.....). What happend to the babies rights? I do not know. But yeah, vote the person, not the party.

Re: Who will you vote for in election 2008
if the dem's give clinton the nomination, the republicans could win with any of the top4. There are 0 swing votes coming from the republicans for Clinton.....but there are certainly swingers in the democratic party....mostly those that switched their votes in the last senate election.
And....Clinton vs Guiliani....I bet Rudy takes New York, meaning embarassing.....major embarassing loss for the democrats.
If the dem's are smart, they'll fix the primary so that clinton won't get it. Maybe let her be the vice candidate this time......but if there is one thing that will slap every turncoat republican that pussed out and voted democrat last senate election......it's the FEAR that not just another clinton...but HILLARY CLINTON might have even a CHANCE of being the president.
you think dem's hate bush? Wait till hillary gets the democratic nomination........just wait.
That silent majority....all those lazy grandparents and quiet folks in the suburbs.......they're gonna wake the fuck up, and start burning shit in the street before they let her reign.
OBama would have a shot......if he actually had a resume.
Edwards has already demonstrated how he can be beaten in the previous election, that's an easy win for the republicans. Thompson would crush him, and Guiliani would swing a lot of his votes from Edwards......hell, from any democratic candidate.
but if it's clinton in 08.......I'm saying it now....she'll lose by a landslide.....10-15% will vote for the other guy, regardless of who it is.....simply because it's NOT hillary clinton. Add to that all the straight ticket voters.....and its guiliani or thompson by 65%.
