RE: Re: RE: A&M BEATS UT!
Hey RON, the funny thing is... Texas A&M took Vince Young's punk ass outta the Hiesman Race, ain't that a bitch? Our FRESHMAN QB (he is also white) tore ya'lls asses up.... He had more RUSHING yards than Vince Young and ALL of ya'lls runningbacks, how pathetic. A&M shut ya'lls asses down and they also shut down Vince Young..... Ya he maybe from my hometown, but he wears that puke orange, he crossed the line. A&M could of taken ya'll down, so in the end at the big picture.... A&M could of beaten the #1 team in the nation, huh.

OK, ready to go! where to start
Alright. It's been awhile since I've made maps for Hammer Editor. I made a map for the Plan of Attack mod when HL2 first came out. Anyway, I am ready to give L4D mapping a go now that I have mucho more experience with all things useless.
I have my campaign 'movie' mapped out and ready to go on paper, my question is, where do I start mapping for now? Should I just build a straight HL2 map until the L4D content gets released?
Thanks

Don't bother. Wait until the SDK imo. If you really want to map, you'll have to make a mod, extract L4D content, find a hacked FGD, and configure Hammer properly. While that doesn't sound like a lot... it's kind of a pain in the ass. And even then your maps might not work, since most of the original HL2 content is not available in L4D (you can't just make a HL2 map and port it to L4D, it doesn't work).
