You could google the system requirements and compare them against your own prior to buying a game. But I guess this is useful for when we want to be lazy :2

It being dual core makes it rated at that. It doesnt really run at that clock speed it just essentially doubled.

I'm not sure how many of you have encountered this, but I've seen people use this lame, boring tactic several times. What they do is activate the lift on NM3, in the gas station area, and then they simply go in the little corner behind the lift, and sit there for the entire crescendo event.

This event was meant to cause panic, and to make teams rush for the windows on the other side of the roof in fear of being pulled off by a smoker. Now, it becomes a boring pause in the game where the survivors take virtually no damage, and then simply walk across the bridge after dispatching the obvious smoker.

I'd really like Valve to change the panic event so that infected will not stop spawning until atleast one survivor makes it into the room accessed by the large, breakable window.

Anyone else agree?

Most of the time I play people don't hide in that corner. They are either on the lift or next to it by the fire barrel. I can see what you mean but all you have to do is learn to exploit their own exploits. It's an art really, just keep trying.
