I disagree, It wouldnt be over powered and maybe its just that much easier to get high pounces on the PC, Ive never seen a pounce for more then 25HPs, major pounces arent as easy or common when Im playing. This goes for my team and the other team. The high pounce areas arent around every corner either.
And by implying it, I was being sarcastic.

Do you play with retards or something? I can see how high pouncing in certain areas (25s that require horizontal jumping or hopping off several walls) may not be as easy on 360 compared to PC, but there are possible high pounces EVERYWHERE unless you're indoors. Many of said pounces are just straight jumps, so landing it is just as easy on 360 as it is PC. As for the 25+ pounce thing, of course you haven't seen it, it's a mod on some PC servers.
Honestly, I can't see what's going through your mind that leads you to believe instant incaps by high pounces would not be ridiculously imbalanced.

What you don't seem to realize is that 25's are already SO easy and common. You'd be getting incap'ed every other second, which would be redicoulously overpowered.
If he jumps from two roof tops away, you wouldn't hear him. The Average pubber sucks already enough as it is, this wouldn't add to any sort of game balance. Maybe raising the pounce cap to 30-40, max. But even that is a LOT of damage.

The thing is this:
Smokers are not meant to do a lot of damage. Smokers are meant to snag the morons who either go to far ahead of their team or get stuck behind. You snag them and that's it. In the amount of time it takes for the team to get to them, if you have a particularly good snag spot, you've perhaps incaped them and maybe even done a decent amount of damage, but that's not your concern as the smoker, that's the hunter's deal. The smoker is somewhat like a pawn in a game of chess. You aren't meant to do much, but sometimes what you can manage to do is excellent and can change the course of the match.

Wow, just wow. You think anticipating where the survivors are going is hard? I can see how it's slightly more difficult in an open area, but it's not hard at all to do if you have decent map knowledge. As for moving when you hear a Hunter, that works for you because you're playing with morons who use common spots that everyone is going to watch. I don't know about you, but after leaving the safe room in DA2, I can't hear a pounce coming all the way from the dumpster near the crane.
Edit: Just found this thread when browsing the rest of the forums.

The majority of pounces shown here are standard high pounces from a competent player on PC. You're saying every one of these should be an instant incap? You're saying that you're gonna hear that Hunter coming every time?
