Supreme Commander?

I was just inquiring if anybody here plays Supreme commander... For those that dont know its a bad ass RTS game which is an Unofficial sequel to Total Annihilation. .. Which was a super great game. Any who, post if you do..

Yeah online account setup is free. Online ply is definitely tougher than bots, but its more fun in my opinion. Only thing i dont like is the GPG.net front end for connecting online is buggy.

I played it, don't own it though.

It's decent, but not Total Annihilation. Which is sad.

I was thinking of buying it, but I'll probably hold out for the expansion (which is being released as a standalone game for some reason) in November. I've played quite a lot of it over IP play, though - I find it's a lot of fun.

I love Supreme Commander. I've been playing that game since the early days when it was known as Total Annihilation. It took them long enough to come out with the newer SC, but boy do I love what they've done with that game and I hope to see more. I agree with GPG being quite buggy and most of the time the game lags in mp because somebody doesn't have a computer up to snuff with the game. I think anyway.

well, these questions are not really related, but i'll post them both in the same thread so i don't have to make 2 threads.

1. "can not spawn, survivors can see you"
does this not apply in campaign? i was just playing a game on NM4, as soon as i left the saferoom i could hear the tank in the background, i carefully made my way through the level but didn't find the tank. i got up to the elevator floor into the open area and cleared out the room, looked to the right side of the room, thought to myself "ok, no zombies there..." looked to the left side of the room, "no zombies there either." tank music starts, i quickly turn back to my right to run and the tank just appears right in front of me. :zombie:
was funny but that's happened several times now just wondering why that happens.

2. just a little while ago i was trying to complete the NM campaign on normal solo, as in i killed the bots in the saferoom and tried to survive the entire campaign completely alone. well i made it to NM4 before it got late and i got too tired to think straight, i'm going to try again tomorrow but i was just thinking. would this be something worth recording, editing together the successful runs and putting it on the internet?
basically would people be interested in watching the successful runs of me doing this? well... that is if i actually can finish the campaign alone

1.it also happened to me...maybe its because the tank sometimes spawns late
2.hell yeah!!! that'd be awsome someone completing a campain all by there selves

As for the latter: There are already things like these, and to top it off -they're done on expert. I'm pretty sure there was some speedrun contest a few members arranged on the forums sometime ago, if you can find it - you'll get your answer. ;]
