not sure if this idea was posted before but i just came up with it cause i just saw the resident evil movie

ok so here is the deal

2 day's after the infection

chapter 1:
Survivors start off in a city much like no mercy campaign, they fight their way to a safe house because this is only path they can take because the city is in chaos,..
in the safe house they find a couple of corpses.. maybe even some infected + an half dead scientist telling them to go to a mansion to hinder the virus from spreading more ( not knowing it already been spread across the city + surroundings ).
Seeing that you are the last person he sees alive he gives you a key/password/usb stick or something to enter in a hidden lab somewhere in a mansion.
You, as the hero feels up to the job.

Chapter 2:
The half dead scientist will die.
Survivors make it out of the safe house,.. go through some streets ending at the cityborder.
They will need to go through some woods to get to a remote mansion fighting the infected along the way,..
somewhat like dead harvest forest (or the forest campaign.. not sure wich one),.
They make it inside a random shed transformed in a safe house

Chapter 3:
as they get out the safe house they find themselves at the gates or fence of the mansion with HUGE open space, they need to find and open the gate,.. attracting the infected.
inside the mansion they trigger a switch Blablabla.. this will lead them to a secret elevator leading them to an underground lab, a elevator behind a big mirror ofc ,..
the elevator also serves as a safe house

Chapter 4:
maybe inside the lab they would see a couple of scientists that will be torn by the infected behind a glass or see a living scientist get transformed into an infected,.. seeing as we dont see the survivor transforming in the safe house in the church map
think about it.. EPIC..XD

Chapter 5:
Still in the lab (yea its a big lab) fighting their way through boobytraps,. hell yea boobytraps that will kill the infected too
The scientist have been able to capture the 1st infected (this being a boss infected, stronger then a tank) for study before it all went wrong.
still in the main lab they discover that there is no cure, or that there is a cure, you fill it in..
and because the lab is in chaos, so power is minimal they will need to use a computer to get away safely because the lab is overrun

1st click on the computer will say that the power needs to be diverted to the transport (tram) but all other facilities inside the lab will be powerless, causing the imprisoned infected to be released (stronger then normal infected). this gives you time to prepare for upcoming Onslaught

2nd click will need you to survive for a couple of minutes because the transport will suck up all the power.
Thus calling the horde from the entire lab + the boss infected will be released.

think about it,.. epic fight

they need to hold em off till a underground tram gets there leading them to safety far out of the city (or at least they think its safe)..

maybe the tram leaves the underground facility and would go past the city and you could the see the chaos in the entire city with 1000's of zombies and maybe see some other survivors being chased by the infected, much like a cinematic ending

Campaign end..

didnt think about the details much,.. seeing i just saw the movie on tv XD,.. but this is what would like as new campaign. i think it would be awesome..
