Would you rather listen to John Kerry speak? He made some good points, honestly.....come on, Kerry is a moron, who threw out his medals after coming back from Vietnam.....He didn't deserve those medals if he threw them away. Campus police got a little ahead of themselves...notice though how they did nothing to the person with the camera...that's the best part...let the guy film it and show it on the internet, but we are going to tase you because you spoke against a politician who lost a presidential race. At least Kerry isn't promoting Global Warming.

I should have bought stock in tazers, I bet it went up. Funny thing is, this kid will probably work for the democratic party in a few years.

They did not Tase him for what he said.

He didn't ask a question he went on a rant. They let him have some time and warned him and gave him some more time to wrap up, but when they felt he had exceeded the appropriate time they asked him to stop and step down.

Instead of behaving like an adult he chose to be abusive and fight the police attempting to remove him. After several moments of attempt to restrain him they THEN tased him. He deserved it. Personally I think the police showed marvilous restraint in waiting as long as they did.

You speak as tho they simply walked up and shocked the shit out of him while he was engaged in intelectual disscussion.

I'm getting seriously fed up with this guy.

Because I disagreed with him regarding the L4D2 boycott, he now seems to be gunning for me and trying to bait me at every opportunity, looking for an opportunity to claim I'm an unsuitable mod or something.

Just in case he decides to cry 'moderator abuse' if I have to take this further, I'm getting this out in 'public' at the earliest opportunity.

After his latest little jibe, I've PMed him the following message:

I strongly suggest that if you have an issue with me or my ability to moderate this forum you come to me directly via PM, we sort it out there 'face to face', and you refrain from making snide comments in public threads.

You are entitled to disagree with me on any issue you choose, just as I am entitled to do with you. This is called 'debate', and is the main reason these forums are here. However, the line is drawn when you begin to make personal jibes at people and in this case, attempting to undermine my role as a moderator here.
I am NOT going to allow you to bait me (or any other member of these forums) in public at every opportunity. This is considered flamebaiting and is an infractable offence on these forums.

If you find me so disagreeable that you are simply unable to respond to my posts as a MEMBER without doing getting personal, you have the right to simply not reply to them. When it comes to my moderation, if you genuinely have issues with it, you raise it with an Admin here and not in public.

I hope this can be the end of the matter.

I've got no issues about dealing with this guy in exactly the same manner I would anyone else, but I figured this is one of those situations that's easier if everyone is aware of it right from the start.
