Actually, it is. That's an English Mastiff, and I've seen one in person back in Seattle. The fuckers are HUGE.

It doesn't say that the picture isn't real, just that it is not the guiness heaviest dog...

Guinness Book of World Records recognizes a mastiff from England named Zorba as the heaviest dog in the world, at over 315lb (142.8 kg).[1] Zorba stood 37 inches (94 cm) at the shoulder and was 8 feet 3 inches (251 cm) from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail[citation needed]. Zorba set this record in November 1989, when he was 8 years old, and about the size of a small lion.

37" at the shoulder, I think the one in the picture is about 40" at the shoulder...not totally unbelievable...not sure why someone would photoshop the dog to be 5" taller than the normal dog height.
