    Top 10

    #1 Ohio State
    #2 Boston College
    #3 Oklahoma
    #4 LSU
    #5 Oregon
    #6 USF
    #7 South Carolina
    #8 USC
    #9 Cal
    #10 Florida

How is LSU #4 you ask? Simple really. USC loses at home to a 49 point under-dog and only drops 8 spots to #10. LSU plays a great kentucky team (SEC team mind you) at kentucky. They lose in the 3rd overtime by a few yards. I think dropping 3 spots to #4 is reasonable.

Ohio state hasnt given me reason to not put them at #1. Likewise for BC at #2.

Oklahoma is a solid pick at #3, even though I feel that they are better than BC (OU has a loss, BC doesnt, gotta be fair). Oregon's spread offense is deadly, and they caught a tough break at cal a few weeks back, and could have easily been sitting atop at #1 right now.

I still think USF is underrated, but 64 points on a UCF team that nearly beat texas, is good enough for a top 10 ranking for this week. South Carolina, beat kentucky, and only has a loss to LSU (which was played in death valley). They have a chance to play in the SEC championship game with a top5 ranking against LSU.

The ap voters are nothing but USC ass kissers. Michigan loses to a D-2 school. Sounds bad right? Well according to some experts App. state could easily beat a lot of D-1 schools, and they were the champs of d-2 football. Michigan drops from #5 out of the polls. USC (as mentioned above) loses at home to a 49 point underdog and only drops 8 spots. Hmmmm....see a pattern? USC lucked out against washington at the end, then lose the following week against stanford. They're lucky to even be at the 8 spot.

Cal, barely lost their only defeat, and with the talent they have, they still retain a top 10 ranking.

Florida, barely loses at LSU. You thought oregon's spread was bad ass? Florida takes it to an artform.

How does the future play out?

I feel that michigan, despite all they've been through, will win their rivalry game with ohio state, dropping the buckeyes from the #1 spot.
Boston college still has games at Virginia tech, and against Florida State, one of which they will lose.
Oregon still has to play USC and I can see USC beating the ducks on a final drive.

With that being said, Oklahoma will win the Big XII, and LSU will win the SEC championship, which will make them even more prime for being the #1 and #2 teams. I love oklahoma, but I feel if LSU can win out, that their strength of schedule will boost them over oklahoma in the rankings. Assuming both teams win out, OU's only loss will be against an unranked Colorado team. LSU's only loss will have come from a strong kentucky team.

Thus bringing us to my prediction of an Oklahoma-LSU National Title.

    Any comments?

Michigan State vs. Ohio State this weekend. MSU's coach is an old defensive coordinator at Ohio State. He is still good friends with Tressel. You think he'll have the spartans ready?

    Ohio State- 24
    Michigan state- 17

Spartans almost pulled off a second half comeback. And Ohio State has THE best defense in the nation. Even better than LSU's. States offense couldnt get started. Only td's came from our defense. :10

It would be nice if Ohio State had the balls to play more good teams each year.

I concur. And I don't like OSU, I was just making a parody of a historically inaccurate, but bitchin, movie.

Seriously, though, the #1 team has played all of nobody. And has at most 3 medium-hard difficulty games this year.

So... I predict they go to the National Championship unbeaten and get the shit kicked out of them. Like last year.

Two of which are decent, though which two changes depending on the week.

    every player counts...

Okay, take your average 8v8 server. You can pretty much determine which team will get owned by the infected if you look at the average intra-team apathy towards teammates.

Or put another way, if you start leaving your teammates behind then you will FAIL. Simple as that.

In these games, it's very easy to take the attitude of "Well, one guy lagging behind doesn't count. There's still 7 of us." But it doesn't stop there. Once the 7th guy in the line gets pounced, the attitude is still "Well, there's six of us left, so keep going!" Etc... The standard rules for surviving as a team still apply to 8v8. There's simply NO way that a team of 4 survivors is going to hold off 8 SI... you've got to go back and help EVERYONE. Even the bots. Ultimately, you're going to need every gun when trying to get into the saferoom.

Someone had a great comment last night which was that the survivors should move like a school of fish. Everyone stay close and keep an eye out so that all directions are covered. If something attacks, we all move in unison to counter. If a player in the back is stopped, we all go back and save them. When a tank comes, provide a WALL of gunfire to take the big palooka down.

If someone needs help, two folks go back. One to help and the other to cover that guy. Then 2 or 3 guys cover those two and the rest cover the other direction.
