Re: GO WILD
Well we are going to have to wait till December 7th to see who wins. In Pre-season we played them twice, first match was 6-1 detroit, the second one was 3-2 Wild. Detroit is 4-2-1 and have alot of point scorers. Think they have the top guy for points in the West right now with zetterberg at 13 points. The Wild are 5-0-0 right now, and we just came off a great win over the stanley cup champs, but we have the best goalies in the league right now and our offense is hitting hard and our defense is scoring goals pretty good. It should be one hell of a match up. Still it is 2 months out, anything can happen. lets just hope everyone on the teams stay healthy and have a good game.

Re: GO WILD
It's good to know others out there enjoy hockey. I of course would want to see the Red Wings have a great season and win another Stanley Cup, but I do love just watching hockey, doesn't really matter who is playing. I'll have to make sure I watch the Wings vs. Wild game on December 7th and see who comes on top for that game. But as anyone who watches hockey knows, anything can happen in a season and the season is long. Which is a good thing, more hockey for me to watch! :9

Re: GO WILD
ah yes, 84 games of bliss
even when you are losing or your team isn't playing.
Are you a fight lover, a hit lover, or a execution lover?
Me personally, I like the Hitting style of hockey. The wild are starting to hit more, which i like, but I love our offensive arsenal we have.

Re: GO WILD
growing up in minnesota its kind of hard not to like hockey.....
oh and I am definitely a fan of the physical play in hockey. Nuttin better than a monster open ice hit or just a huge hit through the glass. BUT, there are some goals that get scored that you just have to admit they are just priceless and fun to watch.

Re: GO WILD
I like the skill level and the puck handling that the Red Wings have displayed over the last several years. Having said that, I think they are one of the weakest hitting teams in the league. They seem to have lost their grit, and you need that toughness to win in hockey. I love watching a good fight or a great hit, that's what makes hockey hockey. The Wings have hired a few hard hitting players the last two seasons (Hatcher and Bartoszyce (sp?)) but neither of them had any effect. I like that Datsyuk and Zetterberg are stepping up their game and actually checking now.
All this talk about hockey makes me want to watch some tonight...
