    I do enjoy a good twitter. I follow mainly for great lines& up and coming gigs to look out for from genius comics as Stephen Fry, Ross Noble, Eddie Izzard and Noel Fielding. Plus you can just babble whats on your mind where as you cant do that on facebook unless you want angry rants of friends telling you to shut the hell up.

    There is nothing attracting me to twitter, at all. I don't follow and I don't tweet. The only good that comes of it is that I get to make fun of my "down-with-capitalism-PC-vegan-punk" friend for using it.

    Twitter is a useful application and it's ignored at a webmasters peril. Viral marketing is the way forward. I wish I'd used Twitter when starting L4Dforums. It would have been a useful addition. I use it to plug the posts on ACM.net.

    I use it to plug posts and threads on all my sites, as long as the status shows as being updated from the web and not 'twitterfeed' or something, then it's good. I have something like 1k followers, so when I tweet a thread, it gets some good guest activity
