    New Speakers

So my church is doing the final install for our current sanctuary before we do on our 27 million dollar building project for a 1700 seat stadium sanctuary and a new education wing.

So for the past week we have been preparing to put up our new McCauley Line array system. We hired out a company called Ford Audio Video (The people who will unofficially be doing the tech install for the new Cowboys Stadium) who are based out of Oklahoma City.

The system is made up out of...

    4 IN.LINE NS1.... (Low End Modules)

At least 8 IN.LINE 90's..... (Straight dispersion Mid/High Range Modules) Not Sure of the Count....

and at least 8 IN.LINE 120's.... (Wide dispersion Mid/High Range Modules)

There arranged like the picture with the exception its stacked 2 NS1's, 4 90's, then 4 120's.......

Now those are on either side of the stage then we will have a center cluster that im not sure what its made up of (Will find out tomorrow).

Also tomorrow I will bring photos of the speakers going up and our new AMP rack.

Bass is the NS1's and for monitors we use JBL speakers.

Tomorrow I will get lots of photos of everything.

Here is a picture from our crows nest from a LONG time ago...... just for a way before comparison...

    Our Yamaha 3000.....

These B52's we used because we grew so much we simply needed to move air to get to everyone in our sactuary. A family bought them and donated them so we didnt really have a say in um but its all we had at the time...

    4 of these...

You must have a BIG church. I would think those would be for a concert rather then just a church service. Very nice indeed though. Curved speakers look is very interesting.

We have 2500 members, 3 services every sunday (8:20, 9:40, 11:00) also assorted other activities through the week.

    Re: New Speakers

As for the curve, it isnt for looks the curve allows to have a straight line stack of speakers to disperse sound throughout a room...

The bottom speakers are shooting closer and the top ones are shooting out farther.
