You pick-up a pipebomb, then aim at where you want it to be thrown to and pick up a molotov and you will discard the pipebomb tossing it ahead. This is useful when you want to stockpile items for a decent camp spot like this.

I don't find this glitch being a problem with the forum rules because it IS realistic to be able to transport supplies to a spot. I would like to see this feature in L4D2.

You're 100% right, but I find Survival fun and this is a level alot of people have trouble with. So it's here if they want it
