Thread: HL2 MODs I'm looking forward to.

Since Half was firsts modded, I've been an HL mod whore. The Quakes and UT games that came out after HL1 were eclipsed by the free content I could get for HL1. So, now while I love DOD:S, I'm keeping an eye on these diamonds that are being forged in the heat and pressure of the HL mod community.

Fortress Forever - Dragging the old school favorite into the 21st Century yet keeping it true to it TFC heritage.

World at War - From the cool dudes who made Firearms mod. This may be the one that unseats DOD:S here at TTP.

The Wastes - I use to play Wasteland Half-Life religiously. I loved the severly limited ammo which meant you had to scavange or die.

Iron Grip: The Oppression - This one is looking very promising. It sounds like a cross between ROOST and Natural Selection.

Natural Selection: Source - The one MOD that I think could put the Source engine to the best use. Yet they are lagging way behind and a source version is probably still a couple of YEARS away.

Im all up for NS Source, the original one was kick-ass.

Being a big Stargate fan, I am kind of interested in this one.

FORTRESS FOREVER, FOREVER! Oh man I grew up on TFC and TFC 1.5. I must have logged at least a thousand hours each summer away from school. The newly generated and the regenerated old maps look kickass too
