Re: What do YOU do for a living?
I'm an Oilman. I work for a well servicing company and my main job description is to keep the Rig Manager happy. This usually entails all manner of jobs, from cooking for crews, cleaning and repairing rod tools, running roughnecks were they are needed, delivering parts, filling in for roughnecks, rigger/swamper for the trucking company, mechanics assistant, welders assistant, and even picking up trash.
Shitty job, but it got me through a shitty time in my life. And they were good people, just shitty work.

Zombie books?
Hey guys,
I recently got myself this when I saw it sitting all alone on a book shelf when I went shopping; Zombie: An Anthology of the Undead: Amazon.co.uk: Christopher Golden: Books
But besides that, it got me thinking. Are there actually many zombie books out there? I don't recall ever seeing any zombie books that were serious in content besides this one.
Assuming there are zombie books out there somewhere, are they predominatly the fast zombies like L4D or are they the slow shambling zombies like Resident Evil?
Thanks!

I own two or three but they're not the best,
Cell - Stephen King, Ok untol it gets halfway then the silliness kicks in!
Haters - Darren Moody (or is it Dan?) This one is alright, an interesting take.
Zombi Survival Guide and World War Z - Max Brooks, a must have read!!
Theres plenty of others, search zombie novels in google!Kagato: "You got this Feesh?"
The Feesh: "I am so fucked..."

Amazon.com: The Living Dead (9781597801430): Joe Hill, George R. R. Martin, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Laurell K. Hamilton, Joe R. Lansdale, Poppy Z. Brite, Harlan Ellison, Stephen King, John Joseph Adams: Books
This is an excellent anthology of zombie fiction, as it deals in all types of zombies (including voodoo zombies!)

World War Z
World War Z by Max Brooks. Author of the Zombie survival guide.
Great novel told from the viewpoint of survivors who managed to live through a world-wide zombie apocalypse.
They expresss their thoughts, reminiscenses, regrets and feelings regarding the catastrophe they survived.
From every part of the globe you can think of.
In this story the zombie plague originated in China and was partially transferred to the west by transplanted donor organs from prisoners.
