Heh... yeah, wireless is convenient, but annoying sometimes. What kind of mouse do you have? If you can get extra batteries for it, you can always have one on standby.

I use a MX1000. It's not good at keeping its power, but it's over 2 years old.

I'll buy a new one together with Crysis, and a new headset.

mine came with two batteries. Problem is, the charger is USB, so my computer has to be on to keep the extra charged. And i don't leave my computer on all the time. sucks when both are daed, and I have to swipe out batteries every 5 minutes while the other charges enough to give me 5.1 minutes.

Agreed! I have a power strip on my desk next to my computer with my phone charger and such plugged in and my last socket is my rechargeables. Always right there to jump in when in the heat of battle.

I had a wireless mouse for a while but the hassle with batteries got to be too much...I thought it would be all cool until I realized that - no - in fact I would NEVER want to sit on the bed and use my mouse...no...I would never want to lean back and use my mouse in my lap 6 feet from my computer...

My mouse never leaves my desk so wired saves me tons of trouble.

You guys with wireless mice - how often do you wander out of wired range and mouse around your computer?
