Cliffs of Dover...
I dont really care for him. I was always more of a Satch man. But nice autograph.

Good work! Johnson is some of the good pooh. Hope you squeezed in a quick lesson or two!
The only musical autograph I've ever asked for was Matt Hensley from Flogging Molly... I've had a poster of the guy on my wall from when he was a pro skater since I was about 9 or 10. The poster went back up with a "best wishes"
Aside from that, I've got a 1970 fender jazz bass given to me by Tom Hooper from the grapes of wrath... They're Canadian, but did actually make it on the radio in the states for a bit;P The bass was used on their first couple albums, and went touring for their biggest years. It looks like hell (no finish, faint remains of blue spray paint) but plays and sounds great!

Re: Fo all you guitar players
Besides a couple of Stevie Ray Vaughn songs and some Micheal Hedges, "Song for George" by Eric Johnson was one of the most frustrating learning experiences of my life as a guitar player. Very nice Syrringe!
It sparked me to find "Song for George" on youtube...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm6kVjhD7TI ...edited better version than the first one I found...
I stopped playing about 8 years ago and last night I was over at an old friend's house (musician) and picked up one of his guitars. First thing I tried to play was this song...not happening...I struggled with it for a while and then moved onto some Clapton...

Syrinnge, you probably already know, but if I remember right, Eric Johnson was a local product, came through San Jac community college.
And personally, I used to listen to Stuart Hamm more than him or the Satch man.
edit -----------------------
Apparently I'm wrong, his web page says Austin, but I swore everyone made a big deal around here because he came through San Jac. I'll just go back to the corner and sit quietly again.
