Thread: No more for me.

Well, my one and only headset gave out on me tonight, and due to my failure to find my wallet, I can't buy another headset. No headset on TTP = no play. So, until I can either find my wallet, which I doubt I'll ever find until we move, I won't be able to play any BF2142, BF2, or COD4.

You can play battlefield... just be a squad member and follow orders. You'll be fine.

Well, at least you can still hit people with a crowbar. But just keep an eye out for a good deal on a cheap one somewhere (I mean, it's boxing week, there's got to be something at your local Source/Radio Shack/Best Buy/whatever).

I had 40 bucks in cash in my pocket when I wrote this, but there were no stores nearby that had headsets for 40 bucks. My dad was able to pitch in and lend me the extra 15 dollars to get a headset better than my last one.

I just didn't want to make people angry on BF2 or 2142, as I like to verbally spot the heck out of everything.

Edit: Cool, it even comes with a USB adapter, should my sound card crap out.

Dont sweat it too much; I only have a mic half the time 'cause my GF *hates* the VOIPing. But I can hear everyone talking and I have gotten good with the radio buttons. For BF2 no mic = inconvenient but I can manage and even help make top squad. But I will not command or SL without a mic, period.
