Took me awhile but glad to have him in my life. Been just over a month but he fits me so so well n-n
5. Ska is my favorite music genre....any ska song can instantly lift my mood and make me smile
Others = Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, Suburban Legends
Ska is basically an infusion of Jazz and Rock...its lovely
8. No one can touch my wrists without being clawed at.
Ever since I freak when someone grabs them or touches them...its a reaction; hopefully one my love will be able to overcome.
Another thing: I don't understand the meaning of tatoos and piercings. Any one of you with them want to explain the meaning behind why you got yours and the like? It would enlighten me. My dad actually had a tattoo from the army. It was a lion. He said it was a mistake but still has it. Neither my sister or I have tattoos or piercings but that's probably because he was a cop. -_-
I myself have plans for my tattoos. One I'm getting is a design I and my best friend worked on, its a stylized heart with a tribal fox and a tribal coyote encircling it, my boyfriend is a furry (like me) and is connected to the fox while I'm connected to the coyote.
Along those lines I also plan on getting a fox print on my chest over my heart, the name birthdate and footprint of my children on my hips (he suggested pawprints next to the human foot which I might do), and an opossum on my shoulder.
I'm attracted to ink, not so much for its looks, but because of its story...I prefer ink that has a meaning to it.

when i see people my age to their twenties or so with huge, obscene tattoos that are.. pretty inappropriate.
i imagine how they're gonna look when they're like 90. hobblin' around the nursing home with a naked pinup girl on their arm and "bad motherf*cker" on their back, tripping the young folks with their cane and stealing oxygen tanks.
it amuses me. i plan on getting a "tribal" turtle and hibiscus flowers on my arm so i won't look silly in my old age.
oh i forgot about moosics.
i'm a huuuuge lover of new age music. a lot of my pandora songs are instrumentals.
not only that, but the sounds of hawaiian chants make me feel at home.
if you haven't heard the throat singing of the inuit in canada or the tuvans in russia, you should check it out! might take some getting used to but i think it's really interesting and fun to do! (the former i can do, the latter.. i'm afraid to try. i might break my throat or something.)

??
Poor bastard...
I can't help but wonder what the tattoo artists are thinking when they ink stuff like this on people...lol...
@Kagato
...how eerie...hahaha. Ok, let’s see...
There are two in particular I really like:
- Nocturne in Bb- Op. 9 No. 1
- Nocturne in C#- Op. PH No. 16
How about yourself? Did I win?
Yeah Rachmaninoff…he’s really something. I still can’t really comprehend the stuff he’s written just because it’s so…well, amazing. Do you have any pieces you’d recommend?
Tempest's third movement is my favourite. Is Pathetique more difficult though? I always thought it was the other way around…but that could be because I actually haven't looked at Tempest yet, heh.
Indeed I have played Clair de Lune; however, I don’t know it very well. I’ve only sight read through it a couple of times and some parts a little more carefully, but no more than that. I admit, some of the rhythms confuse me. I’m not too proficient at stuff like that and I have no teacher right now :P
I like this piece by him:
I actually only discovered Sakamoto’s works some months ago. He’s written the soundtrack for quite a few movies, a couple being Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence; The Last Emperor…He’s also released a lot of his own solo albums. Some of his work reminds me a bit of Joe Hisaishi but not entirely; less “romantic” if you will.
Yiruma…yeah…a lot of his stuff are easy plays but they’re nice sentimental works I guess. However, I have to admit Twilight (don’t know if you’re familiar with it, but it’s just a gaudy book series) sort of...well I don’t know. Yiruma magically got associated with the series and I can’t help but get a little pissed every time I hear “River Flows in You” >_>…but I digress…
I play video game music, for sure. Thanks for the link too...haven't really played anything outside FF6-FF9 (exception being the most infamous To Zanarkand…!) I’m currently trying to tackle Vamo’ alla Flamanco (FF9) though. It’s so damn catchy…
Now I only wish other games had piano collections…*grumble*

Didn't Cowboy Bebop have jazz, as Samurai Champloo had hip-hop? Never watched Beebop, so I don't know.
On the topic of classical music, some of my favorites are Antonin Dvorak and, of course, Chopin. Songs would have to be:
Chopin's second Opus 27
Beethoven's Quasi Una Fantasia
Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf March
Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain
Tchaikovsky's Marche Slave
My number one favorite is.... Antonin Dvorak's Songs my Mother Taught Me (instrumental only, I haven't given the sung one a chance yet).
and among others I forgot to mention. There would be others, but they've been butchered in American pop culture, wether through parody or cliches, that I've actually started to dislike some of them.Originally Posted by David Lynch

Um... Lessee
My name is Sarah (my username is "Sarah" spelled out in Cyrillic, sort of).
I'm attending an art college currently.
I've been dating my boyfriend for roughly 8 years. We met when we were 13, and we've been together ever since.
I love cats, and I dearly miss my cats back in my home town. :c
I'm really really skinny.
I get upset very easily.
I love sugar, but it makes me sleepy.
I've basically described myself as a Witch with the last 3 sentences.
I love to draw and write. I mainly do pseudorealism and cartooning, but I try to do a little of everything. Not so much anime any more though, and my anime style is heavily infused with regular cartooning.
I'm very shy, and I'm terrible at interacting socially face-to-face.
Glad to see some other ska fans here! I love ska, as well as classic rock, oldies music, some indie music, and almost anything else. I'm not a huge fan of rap or metal though. My favorite band is Electric Light Orchestra, this semi-obscure 70's band.
Um, there's not too much else about me. xDEvery new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

I'm Batman!
I was on webcam, being retarded and fun with my friends, and we were all doing weird things, and someone took a picture of me like this when I lost and made that.
