Thread: TTP Rivertrip

Hey guys,

A random thought popped into my head: How about a TTP meetup where we camp out and go float a river (Guadalupe or Frio) for a few days. Camping is really inexpensive and we could get a lot of 3-4 campsites close together. Kick it by the water and float the river during the days, kick it around a campfire at night. All during the which, drinking beer of course.

That would, of course, mean going without counterstrike or whatever game you play for a few days...but we can play online together when we're at home...camping would make for an opportunity to really get to know one another.


Whaddya say, anyone down? I'm thinking mid summer....

Come to the San Marcos area... we have plenty of rivers...

Hub, I was thinking float the Guadalupe....get a campsite somewhere out there (plenty fo spots) and if we ever wanted to hit a night on the town, it'd totally be possible. Plus, some I'd imagine don't wanna "rough it" and get a motel room, so that'd be perfect. Thing is, places book quick and early so we'd have to get on it.

Tractor hit it on the head. I'm in charge of one cooler though.....always shitty to end a beer and have to catch a beer cross-river. That's how we do it. You don't get passed a beer. You get it hail-mary'd to you.
