Games you pay for only let you play online for a fee!

Like "World of Warcraft" and "Tabular Rasa!" When you pay for a game, you should be damn capable of playing the damn thing in single player mode. I know its no fun that way but you get my point.

Yes I know WOW is free with private servers. At least it was allowed to go that way.

But that's just me. I literally hate WoW, dumbest fucking game ever invented.

honestly stick to games that don't do that like the games on TTP

It's up to you whether the fee is worth it or not. You do have to remember, that for MMOs, they're hosting persistent worlds where thousands of people are playing at the same time on the same little group of servers (since I imagine a single box would melt under that kind of load) and they're up most of the time, all year round (WoW comes down every other Tuesday for a few hours of maintenance.) They also need people to make sure the servers aren't screwing up at odd hours of the night and day, community managers (who always seem to suck at their job), and so on.

Most of those fees go into profits, but I'm sure a portion of them are actually used to maintain the system that the game uses.

For me, the $15 for WoW is completely worth it as long as you have a solid group of people to play with. Take away those people, and I wouldn't play WoW even if it was free.
