New job!!

Ok no more guitar center..i started my new job downtown today ( www.kierstedsystems.com )

I am an Electronic Data Discovery Technician now....my cube has a window that over looks downtown.....everyone computers have dual monitors....one for work....and get this, one for ANYTHING!!! So when i have downtime while waiting for a batch of 500,00 .tiff files to convert...i can play cs!!!!!!!!!!!!! the dude who trained me was playing wow when i walked in @ 9 am......and theyre totally cool with it!!!!! im 9-5 everyday so i have time at night to scrim/practice/play wtf ever!!

Im happy. :10

OH YEAH CHECK OUT OUR SERVER!!!! Its huge!!! 500 TERABYTES!!!!! More to come!

wow, that is pretty sick.... I have never heard of any businesses doing that before.... lol..

hahahahah i can feel the envy!! Im starting @ $10/hr./..then when i get bumped up to Specialist...... $20/hr...and im already qualified for specialist, they just want to make sure im dedicated...6 month trial.

Nice. 6 months to pretty much double your pay, I'd say that's worth the wait.

And yes right now I envy you and your job.  

Now that is one hell of a server setup. I'm surprised it looks pretty neat and well managed.

Nice man. I actually know a bunch of people who work for EDS up in Seattle, who I reckon would be a direct competitor to Kiersted Systems, so I'm familiar with the work. Tedious but since the batches take so bloody damn long, you get to screw off in the meanwhile.
