A gaming PC
I am getting a gaming PC in May or earlier to play at my house.I got a question for you people. What is the best PC to play on
I might get the Vilocity for 1,995.99 with out tax but that is the one i like. But Dell got good PCs but i havent seen them and plus I am going to Best Buy to maybe get my PC on May. So the main question here is what gaming PC is the best? Or is there on?
By the way this is a simple question. I havent played BF2 in a while because I went to this place that i played BF2 but they got out of business. For the time i didnt play BF2 I was saving and still am.
So :8 I want a great PC so I can get unlocks so I can do this :4
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA it will happen if you will help me.

STOP RIGHT THERE....There are a lot of knowledgeable people that commute here. See the link that the put for the bigdog boxes.....you pay for the parts big dog builds it and charges you a build fee...so if you do the math, you will end up with a MUCH MUCH MUCH better pc going that route than buying some piece of junk some corporate kiss ass e-junkie electronic store...
if you have any questions...post in the PC hardware Technology forum.
Here is the link: do a lot of reading!!!!! ask questions!!!

Re: A gaming PC
Building you own PC isn't really as difficult as it may seem. It looks scary when you look into the box, once you know what everything is, and how it fits together, its not hard at all. Look at some guides on the net. I learned from my science teacher in high school, he just got a box of parts, handed it to me with a book and said get to work. I loved every second of it. Soon we had it running DOS and he was teaching me that too. Working with computers is great great fun.

Re: A gaming PC
its a great experience building your first pc. lots of good info on the web if you get stuck. the best thing you can do is lots of research before you buy. stop by our PC hardware and tech. forum and you can get lots of questions answered...actually there are guys that know the best gear for the buck right now and they will build you a list on newegg.com in about 10 minutes if you just start a thread there. it is well worth the time spent because you will find yourself saving nearly a grand and most likely youll end up with a better rig than if you buy one from dell or some other shit.

Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 Map Comparison??
As we all know Left 4 Dead brought us something new in terms of a FPS Zombie game. Not only did It contain endless hordes or zombies, A clever A.I director and a witty group of survivors but also a great, but short array of campaigns and endless playtime and pure fun! Each campaign left you anxiously wandering around each corner expecting the worst. Adding to the atmosphere was the "night time" setting which gave L4D an edge and left the player wanting more!!
Moving forward into L4D2 we saw a change in atmosphere, a more light hearted approach to the zombie thriller, "Day time"!
In my opinion L4D2 had fantastic maps, more weapons, new characters and new S.I BUT there just seemed to be something missing? which I highly think was the lack of night time campaigns. adding to that edgy atmosphere L4D gave us, I wasn't left as anxious, wondering if a 12ft titan was waiting around the next corner! The fear had gone haha ( you know the feeling in your stomach the first time a tank chased you :'D )
The opening campaigns (just as an example) Dead centre has nothing on No Mercy, If Dead centre had been set with little lighting and during the night....Well it might have been a different story. Although, I'm not saying I don't like the L4D2 maps, Dark Carnival being one of my favourites out of both games, I just think the game needed a little more darkness!
The big question is, What do you think??
And do you think that they should try and incorporate more night time campaigns into L4D3??

I hear people say this all the time.. That L4D1 is better because it takes place at night. Can't help but wonder why they keep saying that because only half the game takes place at night.
I personally think that time of day doesn't matter or make it more edgy.
I think L4D3 should have a time of day and weather option for all maps...

The thing I find with L4D2's campaigns is that they're all a bit gimmicky. the maps are all so different from eachother that you get bored from them all easily. At least if you like Blood Harvest in L4D1, you're likely to like Death Toll as well. Same goes for No Mercy/Dead Air and Crash Course/The Sacrifice.
I'm an idiot and I can't follow directions. So now I'm also banned.

I agree that the L4D2 maps don't quite have the same touch as the first ones. When I think about it, it doesn't seem to have that amount of ruin and desolation that the first one had. There were bodies and blood nearly everywhere, a number of police/military vehicles, and rubble lying around. The second one had these lying around as well, but it seems to be a bit more empty.
Another factor to this could be the map sizes; things are relatively tightly packed in the first game while the second takes place in areas that are far more open, I guess some of the fear takes the form of claustrophobia in the first game, plus which is worse? Running from a horde out in the middle of a park or through the halls of a hospital?
Thats what I think it is. Makes me wish that the maps in the L4D2 campaigns weren't so open.Parlock: I'm sorry, I'm an idiot who can't read XD.Teenracer6: I hate salt, it's too salty.Parlock: Taking in TP's sweet, sweet buttsweat didn't make me gag
