Re: Are You A Musician?
I play guitar and bass in 2 bands. One is death metal and the other is grindcore/metal.
I'd list all my stuff but it's a lot. I've got about $8,000 in a full ampeg bass stack, full marshall stack, and guitars. I started playing guitar in 1994 and have been in bands since 1998.

Re: Are You A Musician?
lol haha yea ive been playin guitar since i was 17..... im 18 lol. its only been a few months so right now ive just been learnin riffs. i started on an ibanez jumpstart guitar lol, and now i got a lyon by washburn mike kennerty sig. and the new amp i posted. i think im more influenced (if i can be influenced at this amount of experience lol) by hard classic rock by bands like black sabbath AC/DC and yes Metallica. Kirk Hammett is an awsome guitarist and James Hetfield's song topics r really deep. ( yea go ahead and make fun of me but i like songs with meanin lol

Re: Are You A Musician?
I have been playing Air Guitar for 21 years now.... I sit in front of my mirror and wale away on the air. Sometimes even naked after and/or before I get in the shower.
But that aside.. I did Piano for 2 years, which then lead into Percussion and Drums. I like to bang shit, or that's what she said. Still drum away on my practice pad and sometimes even pillows (living in apartments suck).
I did play Electric Bass there for a lil bit. Got boring, so I sold my amp and guitar. My dad got it for me for Christmas from Mars Music (It used to be in Memorial City Mall in Houston, but moved out).

Quality instruments are worth the price hands down. My cello was about 6K and my bow was 500. I wouldn't trade them for the world (unless I could get my hands on a better cello...mmmm....).
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

I used to play the violin but it got boring so now im learning to play the guitar... my influences are pretty much and real punk band(old sum 41,Anti-Flag,Black-flag) out there and any good metal bands(Children of bodom, slayer, iron maiden, black sabbath)
