I'm gonna need to know how many people first. Doesn't make sense to reserver a 16pack van and only have 3 people show.

Draco, as for your Traveling Salesman, it's a simple concept. The people north or south of our intended line of march, would proceed due North or South (as the case may be) and meet up with us at the closest point (to them) along the line of march.

As for Arkansas and Louisiana, I think Civil pretty much covered those questions...

    Read much anyone?

I'm thinking about an Atlanta meet-up for most, others we can pick up along the way. People along the way can drive to the nearest shopping mall parking lot (or some such similar public/paid (whatever your preference is based on what's available in that area) where your vehicle would be safe) and meet up somewhere right near the closest on-ramp/off-ramp to I20. People along the way would have to exchange cell phone numbers (if you don't have one, go buy a cheap piece of shit (pre-paid) and put a measly 30 minutes on it) to facilitate coordinating the actual meet-ups along the way to expedite pick-ups.

The plan will be to leave on the Thursday night before the weekend. I will leave Columbus at 1500EST, ETA to Atlanta NLT1800EST. Departure time will be NLT2100EST. That gives everyone a 3 hour window to meet up with us.

    Are there any other questions?

Rage if we do decide to go, it might just be more beneficial for us to drive out there ourselves.....no sense in driving half the way just for a car pool, might as well go the rest of the trip.

yep i go to ncstate, but i drive a cooper , so thats part of the reason i need to carpool, haha, its not that far a drive for me to just go from Charlotte to Atlanta and leave my car there for a few days... So i can pick up reasonably just one person on the way (maybe if we put the seats down we can fit all the luggage in...).

So let me make sure i have this right bell, if its alright with you, ill meet you at some place in Atlanta sometime between 6:900pm-9pm on the thursday of te chosen week?

If we have more then a few meeting up at Atlanta we should all park in the same area, and next to each other; kinda like dent prevention, that way some one cant pull up next to us while we are gone and dent us and run. ( im a lil over protective about my car... the only nice thing i have/ can afford )
