maybe I may drive. I have done this sort of trip before...means I'd need to take more time off of work...

It seems I head through AK toward the 20-24 hr mark on my trip, if I make it. If I do maybe I can either pick one of you up or leave my car at someones house and then sleep the rest of the trip to Dallas with one of yall driving.

I don't have a very good MPG car but if you have one, I could meet you in Texarkana and drive your car the rest of the way

so you could get some rest

I have done many 24+ hr drives straight. eg Disney from Boston, or Round Trip to Roanoke Virginia 13 hrs there 13 back after spending an hr there. so The distance isn't too terrible to me and I enjoy driving the scary part is the loot I'd be spending.

I have a 2000 Ford Torus so it aint bad with MPG but not as much as a new car. Hopefully a date will be decided soon.

1772 miles / 27 mpg = 66 Gallons of gas. 66 gallons * $3.40 = $225

So $225 one way, versus $204 plane ticket... I unno. Funds are really tight I though I REALLY want to go! ARRGH!
