    Re: Country Music Fans

It's all about Texas Country. I mean, I like country... but Texas Country by far kicks way more ass. Most of them coming from around where I live now and where I used to live.

Cory Morrow - Graduated from Memorial High School in Houston (one of my rival HS's when I was in HS, still is) Then went on to graduate from Texas Tech University.

Pat Green - From San Antonio which is right down the road from me, then graduated from Texas Tech.

Wade Bowen - From New Braunfels (10 miles from me right now)

Stoney LaRue and the Arsenals - Born in Taft, TX but now in New Braunfels

Roger Creager - From Corpus Christi, Graduated from Texas A&M University (Whoop!)

Randy Rogers Band - The Randy Rogers Band recorded its debut album, Live at Cheatham Street Warehouse at a bar of the same name in San Marcos, Texas. (woot)

    The list can go on....

    Cecil,

That's beautiful music. I wish we could high-five, but we can't. We're on the internet.

Please hug everyone and share your love. Please.

Are you thinking of Dolly's "Coat of Many Colors"?

Some more Stoney LaRue.. except this time he has a little special guest make an appearance. The MAN himself, Brandon Jenkins. Dude is a straight OG, he is the original writer of this song. It's one of those songs you play for your wife or girlfriend.

Bout time to revive this topic...

Can't get Jaime Johnson's CD out of my car, in color and high cost of living are awesome songs

There's also a new band out called Golirana that sing some pop/country shit that I think is awesome, the song Wild at Heart in particular. They really remind me of Little Big Town and Lady Antabellum in that they have great harmony that makes me think of Fleetwood Mac.
