    Re: Country Music Fans

My wife's grandmother passed away. It was expected for us older folks, but it came as a surprise to our daughter. She is only five. When we told her she asked, "Another one of my grandmas died?" She was pretty devastated. This grandma, actually great-grandma, was a poet. Every week she sent a handwritten poem to my daughter via snail-mail. Stamp, envelope, card without a prewritten saying. The whole shebang. A real-life caring person. Those are getting rare. The 1%.

People like that are hard to find anymore. That's one of the primary reasons that I love me some TTP. We still remember that there are people on the other end. We say we're sorry to complete strangers over the internet. And people give us crap when we ask them to say "sorry" for messing up one of our games. Is saying sorry really that hard anymore?

    Sorry. I'm another roll.

Here's a tune that kind of sums it up for me. I gotta hit the hay after this.

I feel for you Bacon. I hope that tomorrow you and your family remember the good times and not dwell on what is lost. **Gives Bacon a hug and tells him everything will work out**

    Re: Country Music Fans

sigh kraker.... way to get worked up over it. You tell me a country drummer that can keep up with some of the metal stuff out there and keep it up for 5,6,7 minute songs.....

    Re: Country Music Fans

Top 5 is hard to get but I'll try

The Eagles - Desperado (Clint Black should have let it be)
Marshall Tucker Band - Can't You See?
Blane Larson - how do you get that lonely?
    Johnny Cash - Hurt
    Brooks & Dunn - Believe
