Almost arrested for nothing!

Yeah but its not that I didn't try to stop them from robbing the place or something, they had no intention of doing so and the cops completely misunderstood the situation.

I was 15 or 16 at the time...

About 3 or 4 of my buddies and I are walking back from a party we were attending that night. All of our cars were parked at another friends apartment complex just down the way. To get back to the complex we decided to walk along the golf course, since it wasn't too far away. Seemed like a good idea, since it was at night, the course was dark, and it would allow us to finish off our beers without bringing much attention to ourselves. The golf course was owned by a local country club and as we came up to the club, which was directly adjacent to my buddies complex, we had to walk accross it's parking lot.

There are cameras all over the place, so we're just looking to walk accross and call it a
night. Wasn't that easy though, lol. While making our way through this empty parking lot, we noticed a rent-a-fence caged in area, with a bunch of construction equipment and rows upon rows of golf carts. Must of been a temporary storage for the renovations that they were doing. As we are passing this caged in area, all of a sudden, a car in the parking lot that was facing us, flipped on his high beams and began to peel out as it came careening towards us all.

Being as lit as I and my buddies were, first instinct is to take off. Or in other words risk
the chance of some crazy fuck ramming his car into us for no reason. My immediate thoughts was that these were some guys looking to jump a few kids for kicks. All my buddies take off towards the apartments and start hopping walls like they were on crack. I've never seen white boys jump so high! Ofcourse, being my luck I get seperated from them as the car slams on it's brakes, inches from me, causing me to jump, hit the hood and fall 3 feet from where we impacted. By this point my heart is racing and I'm convinced somebody is really gunning to kill me. My luck didn't change
the least when a 6 foot 5 inch black male, who looked to be about 250 pounds, jumps out sporting a Broncos jersey and holding a semi-auto pistol in his left hand, jumps out of the car and starts to come towards me.

I take off on foot again and this dude yells behind me, "Stop motherfucker!" Yeaaaaaa, riiiight, let me just do that for you, no thanks! He caught up with me incredibly fast, tackles me, and while I'm rolling on the ground, I glance up to see the butt of his gun coming down in pistol whipping action. He didn't hit me with it, but he was damn close. At this point, I knew I was a goner and a bullet was about to be placed in my forhead. While grabbing my hand he says, "I'm placing you under arrest." GOD, I was never happier to hear that shit in my life and immediately stopped resisting.

So, apparently this guy was a private detective, NOT EVEN A COP, and was hired by the country club to watch the place, since kids were stealing golf carts lately. I guess he wasn't getting any leads and thought we were the closest he'd get to solving it, Hah. I get arrested by a real cop fifteen minutes later, taken down to Durango (holding cells) at 2:00am and have the liberty of waiting for my parents to pick me up, while the cops tell them that their son is being charged with Attempted Robbery. Obviously, it was far from it and they didn't have anything to even take to court, so eventually all charges were dropped. Didn't matter though, because I was creamed by my folks for like 6 months.

Oh yea! When the P.I. did handcuff me, he had an assistant chick who looked like she was twice his size! When she made it over to where I was laying handcuffed on the ground, I guess her fat ass was tired from the walk and decided I'd make a good bench. She plopped her ass on my back and had a seat. I yelled in agony and had to ask politely to get her fat ass off of me. FUN TIMES.... :3
