Thread: Almost arrested for nothing!

So I call my friends to see if they want to hang. They say there are at the local 7-11 down the street so I decide to head down there and meet up with them. We go inside and get some food and stuff and we are just hanging out outside the store.

A few kids that are a year younger come to the store who I know, but am not friends with. They start explaining to us about how one of them was banned from the store and he was going to try to buy food while wearing a beanie, sunglass, hood, and with his sweatshirt pulled up so that he would not be recognized. My two friends and I get into my car and watch as the kid goes inside and makes a fool of himself, we are laughing the whole time. The clerk starts yelling at him tells him to leave, he gets on the phone and we assume that he is calling the police on the jackass. My friend wants to buy some candy so we go back inside and he buys it. The 3 kids ending up running away because they figured that the cops were being called and didn't want to get in trouble. We decide to go to my friends house then, because that's where we were going to go afterwards and we didn't feel like sticking around when the cops came.

We are all chillin at my friends house when I get a call from my mom telling me that cops are at my house and that they want to talk to me. I told her I'd be right there, figuring that a few cops would be looking for the jackasses or something.

When I head up my street I see 3-4 cops cars and as I pull up to my house I see at least 7-8 cops cars all with the officers out talking to my parents. At this point I'm thinking WTF happened, I didn't do anything wrong. I pull up, get out of my car and they start asking me all sorts of questions about what I was doing at 7-11 and what happened. I try to ask them what happened but they just ignored me and kept asking me more questions. This cop was generally nice, but then another cop came up and started yelling to me "Yeah thats the kid, he has a bracelet and is wearing a gray sweatshirt."

The officer tells me to step by my car and put my hands over my head and he starts searching me. Meanwhile two other cops are searching my car. I kind of had a smile on my face throughout this entire thing because I had no idea what the hell was going on. The cops asks me why I'm smiling and gets all mad at me. He tells me that this was a situation where I should laying on the ground and that all the cops should have their guns drawn on me. I'm still thinking WTF is happening.

An officer finally told me that they believe that I attempted to rob the 7-11 and that I had similar close to the guy on the surveillance camera. So, start explaining to a chick cop the actual story and she is writing stuff down the entire time, and is shaking her head like I was lying to her face the entire time. I give them the 3 kids names and then they start apologizing realizing that I had done nothing wrong. I direct them sorta to where they live because I don't exactly know and then they all leave...

Turns out that they saw my license plate in one of the surveillance cameras which directed them to my house and saw my sweatshirt that looked sort of like the other kids, and I almost get arrested for nothing!! woot woot.

ill make it short and sweet... i used to work @ a taco bell in abilene texas, i had to stay late and my mom was getting mad(still in high school)
and so i clocked out and ran to my truck to go home, not speeding or anything. and so i start pulling around the restaurant and then all the sudden iam cut off by a non marked police car, then 2 block me in from the back, and then 4 marked cars pull from all directions. i said whats wrong? and she said why was i running to my truck, i said cause i my mom was expecting me home 20 mins ago. and she started looking in my truck like iam some kind of crack head doing rock in the parking lot of a TB, and then am asked you arnt drinking are you... i say yes, moutain dew code red, in a taco bell cup, where i work...
anyway i know cops do stuff like this when they are bored.. also 711 people have no education at all, i have actually got behind there counter to get there prices on cigarettes cause they thought i was with phillop morris, i have to get competitors prices some times in dallas for work some times

Wow what a day you had kid. I'm just glad it turned out all right at the end.

One time my african american friend and I ran out the back door at a kegger when the cops rolled up. It was blizzarding outside, but we escaped anyway and found they all had their guns drawn on us as we ran out the door. Turns out we were partying at a dudes house who was affiliated with some silly ass hispanic gang.

Anyways we didnt get shot but it was still funny.
