Oh that's right, with less of a supply, the price goes up because their is less oil to go around. Hmmm, I wonder why they did that? World society is all about money and greed. I'm not asking the companies to take a loss on anything. I'm just asking them to run a fair business and not take advantage of it's customer/consumers every chance it gets.
I also won't sit at home (when I could be driving) because some mother fucking, ass licking, cock sucking, dope doing environmentalist don't want to hurt a few fish, to drill in our own oceans and on our own lands. Same thing goes for cutting down trees...the motherfuckers grow back...I promise... But whatever, you guys sit at home and bitch about how the oil companies are so great and we are so greedy...do it...I'll use the gas that you aren't. See you on the road bitches.

Now as far as us drilling in our oceans and alaska. I'am all for it. We aint ganna hurt the environment. It's not like if we take oil out of the earth, and harvest the earths resources, that its ganna explode. Drill away, but that will only lower gas prices, mabye 50 cents, and then will be back up again. Thats a bandaid fix, nothing permanent. If we want to have low gas prices and pay less for travel, we need alternate fuel sources. but again, this will not happen on a major scale anytime soon, because of washington and the political power oil has.
Go on vacation, do what you like, I just hope you have a good job, and make enough to do so. People need to get out and spend money, take vacations, it will help the economy.

Oil companies cut supply in the past because prices were so low they were barely scraping by. They aren't now, they are refining all they can. Regardless of what we do, I doubt we will ever run our cars on gas less than $1.50 ever again. We need some other alternative.

Hippies are not typically rich people. Sure, the 0-60 at 3.6s is cool.....but no one is ever going to see it given it's pricepoint.

I seem to remember reading that creating ethanol fuel actually consumed more energy than creating normal gasoline.

having a father, mother, uncle, and step father who work for oil companies this is very interesting to read... amercian oil companies mind you.
but i have to say, nuclear power is the way to go.
when i first studied nuclear fusion/fission in school i immeadiately asked the teacher why we arent using that to create electric power... i still dont understand why we dont...
