Sharing needles with an infected person is just as easy to become infected. You have said your peace, while I do not agree with your opinion I respect it. So if you are so ambivalent about it...why are you so focused on attacking the rights of homosexuals? If you were truly ambivalent you would have voted and left without giving this thread a second thought. So obviously you are anti-homosexual rights. In my eyes you have failed to put forward a legitimated thesis and prove it.

If you wanna get with the same sex than it should be allowed technically but called something else...like a union...aka domestic partnership... that comes with everything legally that a marriage shares.. except the name. PERIOD.

So if two homosexual partners that share living arrangements and expenses are granted the same rights as a married heterosexual couple why then shouldn't two heterosexual roommates that share the same living arrangements and expenses? This could greatly benefit two single guys or gals that don't make enough to afford to live on their own, and in all reality the only difference is the sex.

What's so important about the name? Lots of people have lots of different "wedding" ceremonies calling it tons of different things. Why should "Marriage" be only for straight people?

exactly, That particular definition was defined by George Bush. Definitions change, internet used to never refer to what we think of it as today. Just like the definition of a planet as changed (bye bye pluto ).

Because marriage is what god termed it. Between a man and a woman.

why is the name so important to homosexuals? why cant they be happy with another name ? I mean am I wrong when I say marriage is for a male and female and when two males or two females get together its not different? well then call it something different.
