Speed racer

We took the kids to go see speed racer and I think i enjoyed more than the kids.

Son thought it was fun and was talking about cars when we left but I was blown away by the special effects.

The camera angles and graphics just sucked me in.

We did however see it at the IMAX.
The IMAX is in the same venue as the last 3 TTP meetups.
Marque Center is the bomb.

Go see it.

A must-see for me.

Speed Racer was the dude to me when I was kid. Him, Tom Swift, and Caracatus Potts from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang were the characters that inspired me to engineering.

i guess im too young to have gotten into the speed racer hype. the movie looks kinda cheesy to me. but then again so does the original cartoon.

I used to watch speed racer on cartoon network when they used play it there. Was a good cartoon for a kid like me who loved cars. The movie looks a bit cheesy, but I did some remnants of the cartoon like speed racers pose when he won races lol!

The cartoon was fun to watch, but yea I'm not stepping foot anywhere near this movie. I didn't like that last 2 Matrix movies, so having the Wachowski Bros(however you spell it) doing the movie is a complete turn off to me. As others have said, it looks too cheesy, too over the top, but that's why some people and kids would like it. Much like how people like the Spiderman movies.
