NY doesn't like the 2nd Amendment

Apparently bringing up the 2nd Admendment in a law suit about guns is irrelevant.

Actually, that is EXACTLY what the 2nd amendment is all about. It ensures that the people will always have the power to resist a tyrannical government. It ensures that firearms will not belong solely to the government. People often forget that that document was written by real revolutionaries who had thrown off an oppressive monarchy.

I do not think it leaves a lot of room for interpretation.
