    Hobbies/Interests

Hey guys! So everyone here is obviously into teamwork/games, but I was wondering what other kinds of things the players here like. I think it'd be interesting to see the kind of range we might get.

To start off, I started rock climbing in college, I used to fence on the regional team for UT (poking people with long, pointy, metal objects is fun ), and I visited the archery club off and on. I dabble in sketching (although I haven't in a while) and I really enjoy reading. I puzzles of all kinds, jigsaws, puzzle games (yay Portal), and those tangly disassemble/reassemble puzzles. I also like playing music (piano when I was younger, viola during my school years, and guitar since college). I took up calligraphy one day when I was bored (Western style and Chinese calligraphy), though I'm not very good at it yet (just enough to spiff up cards a bit). I also LOVE learning languages. I know English, Chinese, French, Japanese, and starting on Korean ^^ I try to pick up bits of whatever languages I hear often enough, too.

I dont think I can top that!!!!

Well, I am a single mom, so time is VERY limited.
When I am not busy working, cleaning and being a mom and not on here, I am off riding my horse! And studing animal psychology. I am also invovled in educating the public and vets about pet rats. I currently have two now. I also enjoy shooting and learning about guns. Some day I will go hunting!
I love camping, 4X4ing, boating and fishing. I will jump at the opportunity to fire up my chain saw.

That me in a nut shell.

A woman that fishes? Send a photo of the boat!

    LOL. Just kidding.

I enjoy a mix of hobbies.

Flying (still earning private pilot license. Did first solo on May 8 - woot!)
Boating, boatbuilding, and boat restoration (probably my favorite hobbies)
    Fishing
    Woodworking
    Computer building
    Building scale plastic models
Listening to music of all sorts

    Re: Hobbies/Interests

Tabletop RPGs (used to be old-school World of Darkness, have switched almost entirely to Shadowrun 4th)
Various things where I get to play with fiber (knitting, cross stitch, when do I get a floor loom?)
Writing - I know, it's funny, like I was an English major for a reason...
    Cooking
Violin (oh, to be in pit orchestra again. I even miss Hell Week)
And Arreo and I really need to start wandering off for weekend hikes. Yes, honey, that's like a hint.

I can just about guarantee that if it involves being able to make things, I'm probably at least vaguely interested in it. When I go to visit a friend sometime next year, I will get to play with huge floor looms and decide if I want to look into that kind of investment.
