Favorite Music Genre?

Name your favorite music genre and why it is your favorite.

Mine favorite music genre is reggae. Reggae music has a way of calming me and making me feel extremely relaxed. Plus I enjoy the messages in a lot of reggae songs I listen too.

I think everyone loves a lot of different kinds of music, but my favorite genre is metal, I just think its really cool. The pounding, the speed, the technique, its just sweet.

I prefer 1970's outlaw country because it reminds me of when my dad and I used to go shooting together. It was also the music played at Army battalion parties where I learned, perhaps inappropriately, that it is OK to throw full beer cans at your friends from atop a rapelling tower. :4

i like rock... usually softer rock
my favorite bands are probably radiohead, incubus, pink floyd
i also like stuff like flaming lips, grizzly bear, ben folds (awesome), and who doesn't like electronica: daft punk, justice, ratatat, hot chip, you know stuff that sounds good to the ear... not shit

Music is music. I listen to all of it. All Genre's have a valid place in in my heart. But my roots are definitely built on Rock-n-Roll. To many influences to name. Just know, That I know how to Rock. :9

I adore st least something from everything, and think all of y'all should know that the first "genre" you could find in a record store was the "race" music bin.

I love it all, and couldn't pick a favorite if I tried.
