Hi everyone,

As some of you may have noticed, we’ve been experiencing issues with players disconnecting from Battlefield servers over the past couple of weeks.

We’ve been working with several of our partners to troubleshoot and narrow down the possible culprit; and although we see the light at the end of the tunnel, we’re not there yet.

Additionally we’re pushing buttons, prodding circuits and dis- and reconnecting cables in all the right places and expect to have more information for you very soon.

Please hang in there. We have a lot of talented people working out the kinks and we’ll get this sorted so you can go back to your trusted Battlefield experience.

Is the EA news stream now a fucking myspace page? Some blog bullshit about "oh we're working on it....haven't fixed anything...but we might....maybe we'll look over there....maybe it's...well wahtever bye".

In all fairness, people have been reporting less disconnects/crashes. Of course, as to why they didn't start trouble shooting earlier...

Thats to bad, maybe TTP should stop running EA games on the servers if all you have to look forward to is disappointment. EA obviously has the upper hand here, cause they make great games that people will always play. With all the glitches, disconnections, ext... people still play. EA could care less about the people think, cause they know that people will bitch and complain about all the problems, and still come back the next day, ready to play. So they will get to it.... When its convenient for them. Patients is a virtue... I guess...

I unfortunately crash to desktop all the damn time while playing BF2. Then again I am running 1GB RAM with 6200 video card. It used to never do this...but its my bad for having lousy specs.

I always get a good chuckle when a gaming company or host says... "we are aware of the problem and are ""Working" on it" ......

You just know that in reality it should be... "What the fuck is going on... omg people are complaining... quickly put out some bullshit while we figure out wtf is going on".

right on. Exactly to the tly. The End Of EA BF is coming. No set releases for PC and only a bad gamer named Bad company. UGH!!!!!

Look to Your Orb for the Warning and Look to the Open-Mod builders for the future. IE tf2.

Hey well EA has a hand in putting the BF series on my shelves so you have got to give them some props. Without them the BF Franchise might not even exist.
