Bug bites from hell

These pictures were from yesterday. it's a lot worse today. But I don't want to drop my pants in the shop just to take pictures of them.

I don't know when I got them. But yesterday afternoon my legs started itching A LOT. I actually had to go to sick call to make sure nothing was totally wrong.

Now I have a huge red line around my calves and behind both knees. It itches sooo much and my boots don't help out much.

So that's what chiggers do to you...when I was in Biloxi, Mississippi the locals seemed to speak of chiggers in the same way that they talked of Hurricane Katrina.

Being in lines like that, it looks like poison ivy...

could be chiggers too though. If the sores get weepy and moist then its likely poison ivy/oak/sumac...if they get to be like skeeter bites then its probably chiggers...

but please, we prefer Chigro Americans...

solution? Put one to three cap fulls of bleach into a bathtub full of water and soak in there for 30 minutes or so.

Or, you can put clear fingernail polish over the tops of each of them. This, in essence, "suffocates" the chiggers. Both solutions work within 24 hours.
