Thread: What do you do in spare time?

Just wondering what other people like to do in their spare time, other then play on TTP servers of course.
One of my favorite things to do is read threads in the Banned section of gaming forums, they always make me laugh at how sad, pathetic and unintelligent people can be.

What do you do!

Hang glider pilot here. Only get to go once a week though, rare occasion 2x.

Tuesday night is skate night. Rollerblading with up to approx 25 other people around Houston for up to 25 miles, as little as 12 miles.

There was a similar topic a while back, since I was also curious what people here like to do for fun outside of gaming.

Well, my desk is a pretty decent indicator of what I do: right now it's buried in the pieces of the Skorne Praetorian Ferox box (plus a extra blister for a 4th rider) I just purchased today. They'll get assembled, then cleaned up, then primed and painted. Then, I go forth and bring the unstoppable might of the Skorne army upon whoever gets in my way.

Hordes is fuckin' fun. Besides that, though, I do a LOT of reading, play a number of MMOs, cook and spend time with the lovely Mrs. Deus.

Well, to start it off I'm a new dad(takes up a lot of time), stunt ride sportbikes for motorcycle ralleys in Mexico, play bass in a signed death metal band, play guitar in a local death metal band, and fish for large mouth black bass on my triton boat, paintball, and work. I surprise myself on how i still make time to play cs:s.

Family, family, and more family stuff, I love it.

Engine work, cleaning up a new quad I just bought, shooting, more games, cleaning/yardwork(we are neat freaks to the max), and also an abundance of activities for my daughter.(dance, swimming, soccer, etc...)

Besides the fun stuff, work and more work... :3

Wait, you mean to tell me the guy notorious for shooting down fliers does air related activities. How ironic is that!

Funny thing is, I never feel like anyone is aiming at me up there. Don't think I've ever had a local take a potshot at me, at least no holes in the wing of my gliders yet. Of course, with no motor, nothing for a heat seeking missile to lock on to, so I should be thankful for that I guess.

I still haven't done cross country yet, but 3 of our pilots went up yesterday. 1 guy made it 2 miles, the next guy made 45 miles, last guy made 68 miles. I'm hoping for a 10 miler by the end of summer. :6
