People can monday-morning-armchair-quarterback this topic until the cow jumps over the moon. The more time that passes, the more excuses, cover stories, reasons, etc, can come out. Given enough time, I think anyone can come up with a valid legal defense as to why OJ Simpson killed Nicole Simpson, AND convince everyone that he should have done it long before he did. If anyone had an interest in doing that to begin with. Don't take this as a justifiable tangent from this conversation, I'm just trying to make a point.

Bottom line. America was attacked. Americans wanted revenge. The American government took a long time to come about with a valid legal reason to attack where they did, and now everyone wants to criticize everyone else for their basic human instinct. Returning fire with fire.

Everyone's blood lust has now been satisfied, feelings of revenge have disappated over time and, thanks to a huge body count (on their side not ours, the troops we've lost don't even count for the equivalent of a major battle's losses in any past wars) the majority of American's now want to think, 'Ok, the children have been fed, spanked and put to bed' and now want to back out, not having accomplished that which still needs accomplishing.

We're never gonna get to kill all the terrorists, or even the terrorist wannabe's, but we should continue pounding what little we can still find until the bombings, shootings, and insurgency comes to an abrupt, dead stop.


I really don't care what kind of write-ups you can find. I don't really care what videos you can find. Nobody but the people themselves who made the decision(s) to go over there, are ever really gonna know what they were thinking at the time, nor what their intentions were, for good, bad or otherwise. So, stop second guessing what someone's state of mind and intentions were (especially well after the fact) with regards to anything, unless you miraculously become a mind reader.

I should have specified that I wasn't quoting Lobster, I was quoting the lame-duck-in-chief. I might add, what Lobster said and what the quacker said are essentially the same. Either way, rightfully or not, Islamists don't like the US for a myriad of what could be seen as legitimate reasons, and I don't think jealousy or fear of our freedom is one of them............

Hmmmm....... I think that alot of people are beginning to forget that on Sept 11,2001 WE were attacked and that this "war" wouldn't end for Quite a Long time. Americans are Notorious for Forgetting and going back to "business as usual". I don't want to forget and neither should anybody else.
I also think that Anybody affilliated with the people who attacked us should be hunted down and sent to see their virgins in the most horrific way possible ! Having said that its Obvious to me that they would do the same to me and us ! IE: the way they chopped off Daniel Pearl's head ! I suggest that anybody who hasn't seen it .......go see the video !
Personally I don't give a rat's butt who they are ..........just gut and skin all of them and hang them to Dry !
And for all the people who think that this is unjustified I say then let God straighten it all out after the fact!
Political opinnion aside this is how I feel..........politicians should keep their noses out of Everything they know Nothing About,which is just about Everything !
