Nice pics too bad they didn't take pics when they launched the space tether which is 12 miles long.

Those round discs (3 miles circumference) are explained as "space debris".

Hmmm... much like when our planet and solar system formed from a nebular cloud which is a big disk of debris, shit floating around in space that gets near other shit will tend to coalesc into disks...
Or at least thats what I learned in my Planetary Geology class.
