This is the best advice EVER. Skip the book, the book is sort of worthless when you can get the DVD. This guy's method worked flawlessly.

Also, as for oatmeal - I dont know how well a baby's stomach can handle that kind of roughage. We used rice cereal and baby oatmeal cereal and it worked good.

I would skip the Quaker Instant oatmeal until the baby is older. (I could be wrong or paranoid, but it seems like 1 month is too early for grown-up food.

Also, Cheerios are your friend. Kids love cheerios! Buy the store-brand in the huge bag because you will really go through those things!

congrats man....major congrats.

Just as a heads up...Starting at about 3 months to 1 and a half the kid may start crying and shrieking his/her head off for no reason. They haven't soiled themselves, they aren't hungry.... they are just crying. Don't get too upset. Its natural. They just need the exercise for their lungs.

When they start to teeth....I heard dipping your finger in some Jack Daniels or something else hard like that and lightly rub their gums will help. Again thats what I heard.
