.41 magnum is awesome. I carry one to shoot pigs when they get in close.

And I want a Socom M1 so bad, but I don't have that kind of money. But when I do, I will have one.

Other than that, I mostly have hunting rifles.

Savage 110 in .243 with a cheap Simmons 3x9 scope
Remington 700 in 30-06
Marlin 30-30
Remington 1100 Express 12 gauge
A couple of SKS's.
a Savage .17 Hornaday bolt action. Fun to shoot.

Right now I am looking at one of the Marlin .308 lever actions. The only thing better for killing hogs I could imagine would be the Socom M1, but this is at 1/4 the price.

Is that a 17 HM2 or 17 HMR? I'm thinking of getting a good 17 HMR for squirrel hunting this year and am wondering how much punch that cartridge has.

That kids and idiot, and did anybody notice the (i believe) BSA shortdot, ~$1500 scope. What gun have you tried it on toker? i've tried using a 2-liter and it's actually worked quite well.

As for the collection, between my dad and myself, we have somewhere between 40 and 50 firearms, way too many to list. My favorite is my single shot bolt action 7mm rifle with Leupold M2 Scope.

we actually got a Ruger Special Six today ^_^

its actually quite pretty....w00t! nickel.

and ours that I can think of off the top of my head are:
Springfield XD .45
the new Ruger Special Six I believe it's a .357...can't remember what my dad said.
S&W Model 66 .357
like, FOUR S&W different .41 mag's (its a clique round, but AWESOMELY fun to shoot)
Kimber .45
Ruger target .22 called "The Plinker"
S&W J-Frame blue .38 SPL
and strangely, a small lil bitty .22 mag revolver...my dad uses it when he goes road-biking, he keeps snake-shot in it incase any dogs won't leave them alone along the road.
and god, I've touched maybe half the handguns...

and the rifles? psh, no idea, lol....we never shoot em :-P

Salient points:
Favorite hunting rifle: Weatherby MkV stainless in .308 w/ Leupold Vari-X III scope
Fav. Hunting shotty: Mossberg 835 camo w/ 4x scope
Bedroom gun: Mossberg 590 (

The *other* bedroom gun that is...)

Frau, beat you to it!
Carry: Either Glock 23 or Glock 27 depending on attire
Over the Fridge: (We have Coyotes, coy-dogs, & fisher-cats in the neighborhood) M-4gery w/light & red-dot scope.
