Thread: Real Guns?

how many of y'all out there shoot guns in real life?

I'm part of an avid handgun shooting family...
We mainly do revolvers, especially older pinned and recessed Smith and Wessons.

So if you're a shooter, what kinda guns, and what gun is your "baby"?

We have a kimber 3" 1911 that shoots like a DREAM! I love it ^_^


also, we were at the range saturday, and we were shooting a buddy's S&W .41 mag and it was shearing lead at the forcing cone..
I got a small piece of led stuck in one of the folds of my ear >_<

worst part about it? it was my right ear....

I've picked up a few more since then. Most recently picked up a Lancaster "Russian Red" AK in 7.62.

I know Toker has a good collection...

There's a thread were him and a shit-ton of his friends took all sorts of guns out somewhere and unloaded all day long...I think it was Toker, but I can't find the thread.

God I love that picture.

Ive shot quite a few different weapons but am by no means an avid shooter nor do i actually own a weapon aside from a .22 target rifle. I am a certified NRA target sharpshooter with a 22 at 50 and 100 yards which comes from many many years of camp and rifle club durring my middle and highschool years. I also did a little skeet here and there and hunted once or twice.

My uncle actually owned enough weapons to arm a small army... and kept them in 2 large walk in size safes in his basement. He had many many automatics and a ton of rifles and pistols. I also saw a few other weapons once or twice at his house that im positive were illegal in the US haha. He just loved collecting guns (old or new) even though he didnt shoot that much.

I need shooting buddies in Corpus Christi, mainly cause living on campus, I can't have any firearms with me!!!
