I think this movie can go either way, Awesome or terrible. I imagine it will have some great special effects and great art direction.

imo where they get off casting some white brokeback mountain cowboy as a persian prince is beyond me,.

He'll always be Donnie Darko to me.

Definitely a surprising role to see him in, but I would not doubt he can rise to the occasion, if Mike Newell can give the movie a good vision (this I'm not so sure of).

Same for me. Everytime I hear Jake Gyllenhaal I think about Donie Darko, then I think about Frank the Bunny.
