they are all HRC parts, so they may be a bit better (more $$) but they do offer an AMA and FIM version. Maybe some research would should that our friendly sanctioning body over the pond has some tricks up there sleeves.

    What's on that page isn't a regulator/rectifier. Not for $40.

Like I said, picked one up on ebay anyhow. Should be here soon, hopefully before the weekend.

    Re: Motorcycle question.

How did you go through a rectifier on your bike? It's an '07...

Ebay is where you get the best deals. You just gotta find a reputable seller.

    Re: Motorcycle question.

Dunno what happened. Bike was losing power. Charged it, lost power again. Charged it, had the battery tested and was told it's plenty good. Took the bike in to have the chain and sprockets changed out and asked the guy to test the electrical while doing so. He said the stator is fine, and everything points at the rectifier.

So, that's what I'm replacing. If it doesn't fix anything, I'll keep looking.

sounds like exactly what is wrong with my bike.. I just have to charge my battery every weekend... but they say the battery is fine.. I only get like 15-30 starts prolly before I have to take it out and charge it... let me know if this fixes ur bike

Well that sux. Usually that happens from a short in the wiring harness or bad stators.

    Re: Motorcycle question.

Exactly what I'm doing now, Alpine. About once a week, I have to charge it. I use it to commute to work every day, with a couple of starts at lunch time. Seems like it's going faster this week, but perhaps that's due to the guy messing around when he was changing my sprockets Monday.

I'll certainly let you know what comes of it.
