    Motorcycle question.

Looking for a reputable place to buy a new regulator/rectifier for my 07 CBR600RR. OEM is over $200, which seems a bit much. I found a site with an after market for just over $100, but the site seemed a little shady. Otherwise, it seems finding parts can be a bit of a pain in the ass.

    Thanks.

I really dnt know what to tell ya man.. I would prolly go for the aftermarket savings because I don't have a lot of money.. Now if it was a part that meant your life.. pay the money. ( aka brakes/tires/etc)

It's not a question of after market or not, it's a where to buy question.

Hey hadji, you need a local warranty so try Metro Motorsports. 61st Av and Bell RD You probably won't care for their disposition but they should have the part.

    Re: Motorcycle question.

I already have access to buy the part from a dealer.  Don't want to buy OEM.  It's like double the price.  Just hoping someone could provide a reputable vendor I could buy from online.  After market is much cheaper.

And I never go to Metro Motorsports now that I know about Cycle Gear.  Not only is it a whole lot close to where I live, but the place is excellent.  If I need a dealership for things, I go to my dealer, Apache.  Never Metro or its sisters.

Yea, Metro is so over priced it's rediculous.. I hate that place with a deep deep passion for many other reasons as well.... Put up a craigslist ad for the time being, ya never know who has it just sitting around taking up space...

    Re: Motorcycle question.

Checked ebay again, but used different spacing on CBR, 600, RR, etc. Found a used one for about $70. Beats $230. Just hope no issues. There was a cheaper one, but these guys have a return policy.
