Thread: Gas pumps cheated drivers in Austin.

So according to Draco it is okay to steal as long as you only steal a little at a time?

Does that mean I can go to this company and once a week do a "gas a go" as long as I only do 1 or 2 galllons at a time?

I mean if they can afford to have 1704 pumps they "have fewer things to worry about than a fiver"

I can't believe you are trying to justify thier blantant theft. IF all your thoritical BS numbers are accurate (Which noone will agreee they are but hey for this argument lets clam they are)

1704 Pumps for 4 per station = 426 stations
"each station would take in, each day, $322.56 extra"
426 * 322.56 = $137,410.56 per day in theft

and you compare that with ??

This is crime on the scale of stealing from the Take-a-Penny tray

The 80 IQ moron behind thier counter can see that is more than most bank robbers steal on a good day, and they were doing it every day for god knows how long.

EDIT: I like the one guy about fining them as much as 100,000 dollars. OMG those gas companies going to think twice about pulling that trick again when they lose that 100,000 dollars, what a dent in those pocket books

Ok $100,000 may not be shit when you look at how long this could have been going on.....think about it 900+ pumps short changing customers for god knows how long.... They could have made more than $100,000 for short changing their customers. This is TEXAS we need to make a statement with these fucks by fining them $500,000 + to make an impact. just my thoughts!

I think $100,000 is sufficient

I just think it should be - per pump, per day

If this were a few pumps, an accident, I could understand cause shit happens.

This sounds like a corperate inititive to increase profits. Period. If that is the case i say fuck em
